Length of course: 12 months

“Among the many things that differentiated Westervelt College from the other community or career colleges was the accelerated and intensive 12-month curriculum. From a quantitative perspective, I saw a way to meet my personal and financial commitments at a minimum of lost time or expense. In short, it was an efficient and timely way to get the tools I needed to reach my goals without sacrificing educational content” – Robert P.

Program Overview:

The employment prospects for paralegals are significantly above average due to the growing involvement of paralegals in mediation and business services and the use of computerized legal databases. This Westervelt program effectively blends theoretical and practical aspects, helping you provide legal services to the public either in a law firm or your own paralegal practice.

The Westervelt Paralegal program will offer a field placement of 120 hours. Upon completion of the program graduates may choose to apply for professional designation
